When do I rent?

The reality of the welding industry is that important jobs sometimes come up with little to no warning. When your machine goes down and is in need of repair, Weldstar’s rental department is a perfect choice to hold you over until you can get your machine back. On top of this, when there are big jobs that require multiple machines with large and diverse capabilities, it is simple & cost effective to use Weldstar as a 1 stop shop for all of your project necessities. In case you have a special need that is not very common, any equipment that is not readily available from Weldstar’s rental fleet can generally be obtained in 1-2 business days.

Where can I rent?

Weldstar rents equipment in Illinois, Indiana and Southern Wisconsin. On certain occasions Weldstar is able to coordinate rental jobs outside of its standard territory, providing further value to our customers.

Why would I rent?

  • Prevent Downtime – Weldstar’s equipment rental inventory can help you stay productive at your job when one of your machines goes down. By utilizing a rental machine, you can keep downtime to a minimum while your equipment is being repaired.
  • Cost saving – Sometimes the length of a job cannot justify the cost to buy the machine you need to complete it. For instance, many engine drives cost upwards of $10,000 to buy new. For short term jobs, and often long term jobs as well, the rental cost of a machine is dwarfed by the cost of buying new equipment.
  • Simplicity – Renting from Weldstar is simple and effective. With the machines, cable, & accessories needed to complete your job in inventory, Weldstar is able to provide everything you need from start to finish. With the option for delivery right to your job site, all you have to do is receive the machine, set it up, and you’re ready to start welding!
