The leather welding jacket provides natural insulation giving you suppleness for comfort and is also dirt and water resistant. Cowhide leather is the perfect balance in durability, performance, and value. Split cowhide is one of the heaviest leathers - a tough, durable leather that performs well and provides all-important protection for the upper body torso from arc and welding sparks and slag spatter during medium and heavy-duty welding and cutting operations. The long-sleeve jacket features flame resistant Kevlar Stitching, one of the strongest and most heat resistant commercially available threads. A stand up corduroy collar assures you of added neck protection. Gusseted underarms allow wider range of movement and satin-lined shoulders and arms allow the garment to easily slide on and off. The jacket has convenient outside pockets. The quick access dual scribe sleeve pockets and bottom left front full-sized pocket make lost tools a thing of the past. The jacket has adjustable waist straps and reinforced front and wrist snaps allowing you to draw the cuffs in a little tighter for fitting inside of welding gloves.
