Weldstar Company is currently hiring for a motivated team player who is willing to learn and grow with our company. This position is for a full time Technical Sales Representative for the Champaign – Urbana area with the Depke Gases & Welding Supplies group, a division of the Weldstar Company.

The ideal candidate is a person who understands the value of relationships and collaborative problem solving and is motivated to pursue excellence.
This consultive sales position generally involves local travel within a 60-mile radius.
We are actively growing and have 10 locations throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. We provide technical and sales training.
Our Technical Sales Reps…
- Represent Weldstar with integrity and honesty.
- Manage and grow business unit in an assigned geographic territory.
- Develop great relationships with all stakeholders including customers, fellow staff members and vendors.
- Work with customers to provide solutions to enhance their business.
- Be a continuous learner.
- Generally, have fun doing what you do.
Additional Requirements…
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or experience in a similar role.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Willingness to learn.
- A positive attitude.
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers’ license.
- This is a full-time position.
